Experience Transportation Then and Now

 The only Kennebunkport bike tour with exclusive access to both the innovative Landing School of modern shipbuilding and the historic Seashore Trolley Museum. We’ll start with a scenic ride through Kennebunkport’s Dock Square, stop for a shipbuilding demonstration at the Landing School, and explore the Seashore Trolley Museum’s collection of artfully restored electric rail vehicles — the world’s largest — before hopping on a trolley for a ride back in time. Along the way, we’ll enjoy peaceful back roads and hidden historic routes through Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Cape Porpoise.

Maritime Architectural Splendor

Enjoy larger-than-life tales of the sea captains — and captains of industry — that put Kennebunk and Kennebunkport on the map while you marvel at their stately mansions. Led by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll ride along Summer Street in Kennebunk, where shipbuilders and trading captains of the 18th and 19th centuries built their lavish homes, stopping to learn about their history and the people who lived there. We’ll follow an old trolley line along the Mousam River, where the first ships were built and where once stood a Colonial fort. The return trip will take us past the oldest inn in America and some of the most beautiful beaches in the area.
